2015 Mary Trueman Art Song Vocal Competition Finalists

ASPS's would like to thank the following judges Thomas Grubb, Thomas Muraco, and Marni Nixon for joining Blair Boone-Migura these past two weekends in adjudicating our vocal competition. This year would have been art song specialist Mary Trueman’s 100th birthday. So it is with great pleasure that we would like to announce the fifteen finalists who competed in the competition distinguishing themselves among the nearly 100 semi-finalists. These exceptional individuals will go on to compete on March 19th, 2016 at 12:30pm at Opera America (330 Seventh Avenue) in a recital format before the public in the 2016 Mary Trueman Art Song Vocal Competition. The adjudicators will be Corradina Caporello, Thomas Grubb, Mark Markham, Thomas Muraco, and Marni Nixon. The finalists will compete on March 19th in the following order:

1) Faylotte Crayton, Soprano and Renate Rohlfing, pianist

2) Tatiana Ogan, Mezzo and Tom Weaver, pianist

3) Andréanne Paquin, Soprano and Michel-Alexandre Broekaert, pianist
 
4) Benjamin Dickerson, Baritone and Andrew Sun, pianist

5) Manna Knjoi, Soprano and Eric Sedgwick, pianist

6) Emily D'Angelo, Mezzo and Christopher Reynolds, pianist

7) Tami Petty, Soprano and Spencer Myer, pianist

8) Sandra Hamaoui, Soprano and Eric Sedgwick, pianist - 2016 Winner of The Mary Trueman Art Song Vocal Competition.
