ASPS offers a variety of programs and services to assist vocal musicians in the study, interpretation, and performance of art song. The following are events, programs, and services specifically created for the enhancement and enrichment of aspiring musicians:
Workshops
Workshops are great opportunities to simultaneously perform and polish songs at any stage of learning. Master Classes and Competition
Master classes are opportunities to both perform in front of and learn from some of the most highly regarded music professionals in the world. The Mary Trueman Vocal Arts Competition seeks to promote and develop the next generation of emerging artists to help prepare them for careers as professional performers. Unless otherwise noted, master classes are held at Opera America, 330 7th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY. The 2013 Mary Trueman Vocal Arts Competition closed semi-final auditions will be held in New York City on November 2nd at Opera America. The finals are open to the public and will be held on March 29, 2014. Please check our Upcoming Events page for more details!!!
