Blair Boone-Migura's Studio - Private Voice Lessons & Coachings:
As an honorary graduate of distinction at Westminster Choir College's exemplary Master of Vocal Pedagogy degree program in Princeton under Dr. Christopher Arneson, and a long-time student of over twenty years of vocal pedagogue and French & German song specialist Mary Trueman (1915-2008), Blair Boone-Migura's pedagogical approach is based largely on the focus of the relationship between posture and breathing, on the clean approximation of the vocal folds through staccati exercises, on timbres, vowel integrity and modification through vowel permutations (messa di voce), on resonance sensation through "ng" exercises, and on close examination of song texts through explication de texte (a method of literary criticism involving a detailed analysis of poetic text).
